1. Introduction
SvitApps LLC (“SvitApps”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is an independent iOS app studio registered in Dover, Delaware, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website svitapplications.com (the “Site”) and to the iOS applications we publish (the “Apps”), unless a specific App is accompanied by its own privacy policy, in which case that policy controls for that App.
The short version: we collect as little as possible. We do not sell your personal information, we do not run third-party ad networks on our Site, and most of the data our Apps need stays on your device.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Correspondence. If you email us or use our contact details, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in the message.
Information collected automatically
- Site server logs. Like nearly every website, our web server records standard technical logs: IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. We use them for security and troubleshooting and retain them for a limited period.
- App diagnostics and usage. Our Apps may collect device model, iOS version, App version, language and region, crash reports, and aggregated, pseudonymous usage events (for example, which features are used). This helps us fix bugs and improve the Apps.
- Identifiers. Where an App uses the advertising identifier (IDFA) or tracking as defined by Apple, it does so only after you grant permission through Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency prompt. You can decline or change this at any time in iOS Settings.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions in our Apps are processed entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment card details. We may receive anonymized transaction confirmations (for example, that a subscription is active) to unlock functionality.
3. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and the Apps;
- To diagnose crashes, bugs, and performance problems;
- To respond to support requests and other messages;
- To understand aggregate usage so we can decide what to build next;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. How we share information
We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us run our business — for example cloud hosting, crash reporting, and analytics vendors — under contracts that restrict how they may use the data;
- Apple, in connection with App Store distribution, purchases, and TestFlight;
- Authorities or other parties where required by law, for example to respond to lawful requests, protect our rights, or prevent fraud or abuse;
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, and then delete or anonymize it. Server logs are rotated on a short schedule. Support correspondence is kept while your request is open and for a reasonable period afterwards.
6. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and the principle of least access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data in line with industry practice.
7. Children’s privacy
Our Site and Apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your choices
- Device permissions. iOS lets you control access to tracking, notifications, location, photos, and more in Settings — per App, at any time.
- Analytics. Where an App offers an analytics opt-out, you will find it in the App’s settings. You can also limit sharing at the OS level in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
- Email. If you write to us, we use your address only to reply — there are no marketing lists to unsubscribe from.
9. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you specific rights:
- Right to know what categories of personal information we collect and how we use them (this Policy is that disclosure — in the preceding 12 months we have collected only: identifiers such as IP address and device identifiers, and internet/electronic activity such as App usage and crash data);
- Right to delete personal information we hold about you;
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information;
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — however, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months;
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will verify your request using the email address associated with your correspondence and respond within the statutory period. You may use an authorized agent, in which case we may require proof of authorization.
10. Other U.S. state privacy laws
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. We honor such requests regardless of your state of residence. We do not engage in targeted advertising or the sale of personal data.
11. Users outside the United States
We are based in the United States, and information is processed on servers in the United States and other countries, which may have different data-protection rules than your country.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on these legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the Apps you request), our legitimate interests (securing and improving our products), and your consent where required (for example, tracking under ATT). You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Where we transfer data out of the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
12. Third-party links and services
The Site and Apps may link to third-party websites and services (for example, the Apple App Store). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to read.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes affecting the Apps, provide notice through the App or the Site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
